Bearings for handling

Bearings for handling

COMBINED BEARINGS

Combined bearings are particularly suitable for use in the uprights of forklift trucks and in any other translation and handling system where profiles are used.

The particular configuration of the combined bearing allows for optimal distribution of external loads acting on the bearing itself, which are divided between the main longitudinal guiding bearing and the lateral thrust roller.

This ensures the best load distribution with a significant reduction in specific pressures on the profile, making it less prone to wear.

The combined bearing offers considerable ease of assembly, as it is ready to be welded onto the profile after being inserted into the housing.

Here are the main technical characteristics:

  • The outer rings of the bearings are made of carburized steel with hardness 60/62 HRC.
  • The inner rings of the bearings are made of core-hardened steel with hardness 60/62 HRC.
  • The cylindrical rollers are made of hardened steel with hardness 59-64 HRC.
  • The supports are made of low-carbon steel easily weldable.
  • Seals come in various types: metallic, labyrinth, and sliding rubber.
  • The bearings are originally lubricated with grease graded 2/3.

WHEELS AND PRESSURE ROLLERS

The main characteristic of this series of wheels is the high thickness of the outer ring, suitable for withstanding high specific pressures and impacts resulting from the use of these bearings as pressure rollers, cam followers, conveyor rollers, bearings for forklift uprights, and more.

Other important characteristics of these bearings include:

  • Outer ring with double roller retaining edge, integrally machined to make the wheel suitable for bearing loads including axial components. The ring usually has a curvature on the outer diameter to improve operating conditions under heavy loads and thus eliminate load concentrations. Wheels with a cylindrical outer surface can be provided upon request.
  • Inner ring with lubricant feed holes and channels and two closing ribs.
  • Metal labyrinth or sliding rubber sealing system. Full complement of cylindrical rollers.
  • Execution tolerance according to the normal class with the possibility of special executions.
  • The bearings are originally lubricated with grease graded 2/3.

IDLER PINS

The main characteristic of this series of rollers is the high thickness of the outer ring, suitable for withstanding high specific pressures and impacts resulting from the use of these bearings (for example: cam followers and rollers).

Other important characteristics of these bearings include:

  • Outer ring with double roller retaining edge, integrally machined to make the roller suitable for bearing loads including axial components. The ring usually has a curvature on the outer diameter to improve operating conditions under heavy loads and thus eliminate load concentrations. Wheels with a cylindrical outer surface can be provided upon request.
  • Pin with threaded stem, lubrication channels and holes, an integrally machined roller guide edge, and a hardened raceway.
  • A hexagonal key seat is provided on the front side, or upon request, a cutout for a screwdriver.
  • Metal labyrinth or sliding rubber sealing system. Full complement of cylindrical rollers.
  • Execution tolerance according to the normal class with the possibility of special executions.
  • The bearings are originally lubricated with grease graded 2/3.
